The term “Echno” or “us” or “we” refers to the administrator of the website.
The term “you” refers to the user or viewer or customer or consumer of our website.
Accuracy of Product Description
All the products we sell are of a technical nature and it is not practical to publish detailed specifications of all the products. All images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our site and adverts are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. Full detailed specifications are available from the manufacturers brochures or their websites. All product specifications, images and other information published on our website have either been made accessible by suppliers, manufacturers, publications, publicists, or been gathered from public-domain sources. The intention of Echno Ltd. is that all information on the website and adverts should be as accurate and up to date as possible. However, Echno Ltd. cannot guarantee the reliability, or the accuracy of the information contained within its website pages. All the actions taken by the customer are the responsibility of the individual.
Typographical Errors In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the value of the incorrect price (including delivery charges). Payment and Price The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax) but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time of checkout and placing your order.
We accept Paypal, all major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Solo and Maestro. On the order you must provide us with your exact shipping address, billing address and telephone number, the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit card has been properly received. You may also pay by other means such as BACS although we cannot dispatch the goods until payment has been completed. For orders paid by PayPal payments please make sure your shipping address match with your PayPal registered address.
Availability of Goods All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reasons we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods. "In Stock" item indicates the item is available from the manufacturer and can be ordered on request.
Trade Names and Trade Marks
Trade names and marks (other than ours) are not always indications of the manufacturer of a product and may rather be indicative of general use systems associated with such products. Both parties hereby acknowledge the intellectual property rights of suppliers and manufacturers of the Goods appearing in our sales literature and on our website.
When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order. Once we have confirmed the price and availability of the goods we will accept your order and a contract will then exist between us. We will not take payment from you until we have accepted your order. In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, we have made a pricing mistake, or that the goods cannot be obtained within 28 days we will advise you of this by email and we will give you option to cancel the order.
If your order comprises multiple items and some items are out of stock the total order value will be reduced to the total for available items. If we cannot deliver the remainder of your order within 28 days we will notify you by email and arrange the credit for the out of stock items. If a paid delivery charge has been selected this will still be applicable.
You can order online and pay using Credit/Debit cards via PayPal or with your PayPal account. PayPal Credit / Debit card page is safe, secure and encrypted. Payment is accepted in GBP and EURO only.
Please ensure you have supplied us with a valid e-mail address and phone number so that we can confirm receipt of your order and contact you to assist you in monitoring it's progress.
Delivery charges are calculated by order value for all UK mainland and offshore orders.
All good(s) are sent out by either standard post, Royal Mail 1st class or Royal Mail Tracked (dependant on order value). Delivery is usually made in 2 to 3 working days but can take up to 5 working days during busy periods.
If you have ordered express delivery all good(s) will be dispatched by Royal Mail Tracked 24 Service. We guarantee same day dispatch and 1 to 2 working days’ delivery for customers who opt for the express delivery option provided that the order is placed and payment is received before 1pm (Monday - Friday). If orders are placed after 1pm, we will do our best, but cannot guarantee same day dispatch.
Carriage cost for all delivery options includes insurance for loss or damage in transit.
You will be notified by email when your order is dispatched along with the carrier information and any relevant tracking information. Our carriers will require a signature for most deliveries. Please make sure that somebody is available at your chosen delivery address to sign for your package.
If your order is dispatched by Royal Mail recorded post and you are not in to receive it, Royal Mail will leave a "while you were out" card. You can telephone the number on the card to arrange a redelivery or you can collect it from your local post or sorting office.
If your order is dispatched by courier, and you are not in to receive it, the courier will leave a "while you were out" card. You can telephone the number on the card to arrange a redelivery or you can collect it from the carrier's depot.
If you do not arrange a redelivery with a courier, they may attempt a redelivery the next working day but this is not guaranteed. They will return the order to us in few days. Please note if the order is return to us we reserve the right to charge you for re-delivery.
We welcome all orders from within the EU. VAT at 20% is included within our website price for your purchase.
At the moment, we are not accepting orders from outside EU. We are working hard with courier resources for a safe and timed international delivery and will start accepting orders outside EU in future.
Goods Damaged in Transit
All good(s) are packed to an adequate level to help avoid damage during transit. Upon delivery please physically open the box / package and check the good(s) for damage during transit before you accept it. If it has been damaged, please refuse to accept it and ask for it to be returned to the senders’ address (this is noted on every parcel). We will then replace the damaged good(s) by return.
Undelivered or Lost Goods
If after 15 working days from the date of your order (this excludes Saturday, Sunday & Bank holidays) your good(s) are still undelivered please follow this procedure: Firstly, contact your local Royal Mail sorting office. In 90% of cases an attempt has been made to deliver the good/s. If no one was present to sign for the delivery, or if the parcel was too large to fit through a letter box it will have been returned to the postal sorting office / depot. They are generally stored for a period of 5 to 10 days. If after this period, the good(s) have still not been collected they will be either destroyed by Royal Mail or returned to us at their discretion (returned post can take up to 5 weeks). If the good(s) have been returned to us, please contact us. If the good(s) are not at your local sorting office / depot please contact us to inform that your good(s) have not arrived. Please also include reference to your order number and the date that the good(s) were ordered.
Returns & Refunds
Under the distance selling regulations, you (the consumer) have the right to cancel your order within 28 days from the day after the date of arrival of your order. We will accept returns within 28 days of receipt of your order if you change your mind or no longer want the item as long as the item is returned in a saleable condition and in its original packaging.
We can offer an exchange or a credit note towards your next purchase or refund your money dependant on circumstances. Please note that for the return of non-faulty items, refund amount received (if any) will be based on our current sale price of the item and not your original purchase price. Items returned to us due to a manufacturer's fault later than 28 days after the item was delivered will be eligible for a repair or direct replacement. Where a direct replacement cannot be offered, or a repair is beyond economical repair we will offer an exchange or credit voucher towards any other product on the website.
Please note that if order is returned after 28 days for any other reason than it is faulty and the buyer has requested a refund, we reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee.
Your 30 day right of cancellation does not apply to any software products or any consumable products which (by their very nature) cannot be returned e.g. Ink cartridges, ink refill kits.
Carriage charges for returned goods will be incurred by the customer. Carriage charges will be applied to any order that is returned and that was shipped on a free delivery. In order to accept good(s) as being faulty, we must be able to replicate the described fault.
Before returning any good(s) to us, you must contact us by email to notify us so that we can issue you instructions. After contacting us by e-mail your enquiry will be processed and you will be allocated a returns form and given instructions on how to return good(s). Please note that we aim to process all returned good(s) within 48 hours of receipt, but returns / refunds can take up to 7 working days to be processed.
We strongly advise all customers to return their good(s) by recorded delivery. It is your responsibility to ensure that good(s) are packaged sufficiently prior to returning them. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure that all returned good(s) reach us safely.
This cancellation and return policy does not affect your legal rights.
We will not tolerate any attempts to obtain good(s) by fraudulent means. Any fraudulent action will be reported to the relevant authorities. Please note that internet host IP addresses are recorded when placing an order online.
Changes to these Terms and Conditions
These terms were last updated on 26th October 2016 and published on website for immediate effect. Any previous versions of our Terms and Conditions are automatically voided. We may change our Terms and Conditions at any time in future, so please review our Terms and Conditions every time you place an order as these Terms and Conditions apply to your order. Please read these terms carefully, and print and keep a copy of them for your reference.
